Merchants of fine medieval and fantasy garb
A nice bright and colorful dress, with modest angel-wing sleeves. Worn with a belt, this lose gown can fit many figure types. Made from pre-shrunk cotton, our T Dress can stand up to many repeated washings, so you can wear it for fun and still get dirty!
We've made varitions on this dress for more years than we care to admit, back as far as when the young ladies of Hobbitronics were very young. They were originally designed because there wasn't much garb available for the younger (pre-teen to teen) ladies. Imagine our surprise when we discovered that more of them were being bought by petite women instead! So we modified the garment to accommodate a little more bust than the original youth and children's patterns.
This dress is normally worn with a belt or girdle. A simple belt to hang your pouch from looks great, but it can also be worn with a more correct girdle which was a long cord which was placed simply round the waist and loosely knotted; or wound round above the waist once, crossed behind the back, then knotted in front, with the ends allowed to hang down. The ends of the girdle often had tassels and knots depending from them.
