Our Houppelandes are elegant floor-length gowns that can be made from a wide variety of materials. The full sleeves are lined with a complementary or contracting colored fabric. There is a modest v-neckline. Meant to be worn with a belt or waist-cincher, this gown can be worn alone or over an underdress. This is a one-size fits most garment. Our standard size has fit many curvy and even pregnant women, while still looking perfect on more slender ladies.
We've sold hundreds of these women's houppelandes over the years to many satisfied customers for use at weddings, in the Society for Creative Anachronism, along with other medieval events, renaissance faires, for use in the theatre and at science fiction and fantasy conventions.
